The Aalto MBA Programs in Technology Leadership consist of two parts:

Leading Digital Transformation or Data, Analytics, and AI for Professionals program

Aalto Executive MBA or Aalto MBA program
When you complete the Leading Digital Transformation or Data, Analytics, and AI for Professionals program before starting the Aalto Executive MBA or MBA, you build a strong foundation in digitalization, data, and AI. You will enter the EMBA/MBA with a strategic understanding of how digitalization, data, and AI shape business models and decision making, giving them a competitive advantage. This foundation allows you to engage more deeply in leadership, strategy, and general management discussions, accelerating learning and increasing the overall impact of the EMBA/MBA experience.
The Leading Digital Transformation program offers senior professionals and leaders a pathway to an MBA/EMBA education, combining core leadership development with a forward-thinking digital approach. The Data, Analytics, and AI for Professionals program provides a corresponding pathway for managers and professionals focused on building strong skills in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to support data-driven decision making and business development.
By continuing your studies in an Aalto MBA or EMBA program, you will both widen and deepen your management skills, earning the unique Aalto Tech MBA or Aalto Tech EMBA specialization through a holistic leadership development journey.
The programs are fully in English, and the fixed program structure allows you to easily manage your time and studies even if you participate outside of the Helsinki metropolitan area or from abroad.
The Leading Digital Transformation and Data, Analytics, and AI for Professionals programs are worth 18 ECTS credits each, which are transferable to the Aalto MBA or Aalto Executive MBA programs (each 90 ECTS in total). The study credits are valid for five years after completing the Leading Digital Transformation or Data, Analytics, and AI for Professionals program. After completing either of these programs and the Aalto MBA or Executive MBA, you will receive the Aalto MBA or Executive MBA in Technology Leadership certificate.
Participants who successfully complete the Leading Digital Transformation program or Data, Analytics, and AI for Professionals program and transfer the earned 18 credits receive a 20% tuition fee reduction for the Aalto MBA or Executive MBA.

Data, Analytics, and AI for Professionals
The Data, Analytics, and AI for Professionals program equips you with the essential skills to understand and apply data analytics and artificial intelligence in business. It will strengthen your ability to make data-driven decisions and leverage AI to create business value.
Participants gain a practical understanding of data, analytics, and AI technologies, their opportunities and limitations, and their strategic, ethical, and organizational implications.
The program consists of four study modules, each including individual pre- and post-assignments. Each module is delivered once a year, and participants can start the program with any module.
During the program, you will develop a practical understanding of how to apply data, analytics, and AI in your own organization to support decision making, innovation, and performance improvement.
Leading Digital Transformation
The Leading Digital Transformation program equips you to navigate digital disruption, integrate emerging technologies, and lead innovation. It adds a future-focused, tech-savvy layer to leadership development.
You will learn to align AI and digital capabilities with strategy, foster agile cultures, and stay competitive in a rapidly changing landscape.
The program consists of four study modules, each with mandatory, individual written pre- and post-assignments. Each module is held once a year, and participants can start the program with any of the modules.
During the program, you will create a Digital Transformation Plan to help balance your organization’s core business operations with new opportunities for growth and competitive advantage. Depending on your individual goals and current business needs, the plan can emphasize either a technology-driven or strategic digital approach.
